Segne | VisionIntoArt "Traveling Songs" This is an arrangement I made of a beautiful song by Bela Bellow. It's part of an upcoming release by VisionIntoArt available later this year. The performers are the VIA ensemble plus special guests Dave Philips on bass and Helga Davis on vocals. All that percussion and drumset playing is me on many, many (did i mention many) overdubs.
Last Hymn | Paola Prestini "Body Maps" This is an excerpt from "Last hymn" a beautiful vibraphone solo with electronic sounds that Paola Prestini wrote for me. I was honored to record it for a great composer and a wonderful friend. It's currently available on the Tzadik label.
Root/Wurtzel (excerpt) | VisionIntoArt "Sounds" This is the end of a great piece by Milica Paranosic written for chorus, electronics, spoken word and yes, a long drum solo. In the interest of time I decided to keep it short. Milica is a fantastic composer! This recording will be released later in 2008.

It started as a percussion quartet and now belongs to VIA. We've performed this in Serbia, Italy and the USA. ... it works! And yes, i overdubbed all of the percussion. What can i say, it's TOO much fun!

Great music! I am featured on marimba on this track.

Sequentia II | ARCANUM - Ezequiel Viñao This work was recorded and written for Absolute Ensemble. Sequentia II is a timpani solo accompanied by brass and percussion. The timpani part was challenging and very fun to play.
